Between Houston and Austin, TX is where I make my home. I'm a photographer of women, men, horses, dogs, and all things living and dead. I'm equally happy in deep woods on a moonless night and a crowded market in Kampala. I find solace in the quiet space between two clear notes and the sonic assault of a hardcore band. I make meatballs for my old dogs and I see owls everywhere I go. I embrace imperfection. I help clients from a wide range of industries tell their stories through photographs, often by illuminating the details and humanity in people's lives. Whether I'm photographing astronauts, self-help gurus, transgender activists, or steel workers, I look for what makes them unique. My purpose as an artist is simple: to combine life, light and color in a way that illuminates the beauty that surrounds us.
